HOW TO post a picture on your message
Only images that are on the Internet can be posted inside the lessages you post.
[for uploading pictures to your personal gallery, see instructions in next paragraph below]

If your images aren't yet online, you can host them for free at
http://www.gimeimages.com/

In order to post the image, right-click on the image, select Properties, then copy the URL address (http:// etc.). Go to your message (on the forum) and click the Img button (see menu above) it will type: [img]
Then paste the url address of the image (http:// etc.)
Then click the Img button again, it will type: [/img]
That's it. Your picture will appear after you click the Submit button.

HOW TO upload your pictures into the Album

The forum has an Album section (see link at the top of the page).

In the Album section you can upload your pictures directly from your computer.

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PICTURES:
1. Click the "Album" link at the top of the page
2. Select the part of the world corresponding to the style of the tattoo
3. Click the "Upload Pic" button
4. Fill in the title and description, and indicate the location of the picture on your computer. Then click "Submit"

We consider that the caption is as important as the picture.

In the TITLE of the picture, please put: your name, the design and the body part.
For example: Mike: tiki on shoulder, or Lucy: Tribal design on lower back, or etc.

As much as possible, please fill in the DESCRIPTION with:
- tattooed person's name and location (city, country)
- tattooist's name, studio name and address
- date of tattoo
- how long it took
- your comments about the design (style, symbolism...)
- any other comment about the tattoo or the artist

Behind a good tattoo there is always a good story!
Tell how this tattoo was born, your motivations, how you chose the symbols, the style, the artist...
Tell what you think of the result. Your projects about continuing this tattoo, getting another one...

You may also ask questions about the tattoo you present.

HOW TO choose your language

You can choose the language of the forum.

When you are not logged in as a member, the language option field is located just just below Tahiti Tatou logo (at the top left of the Forum index page). Three languages are available: English, French and Spanish. All the instructions of the forum will appear in the language you have chosen. This is very helpful if you want to understand the instructions in order to register as a member!

When you are logged in as a member, you can choose your default language in your Profile.

New button for your Personal Gallery

You may have noticed it, I just added a new "photos" button which appears at the bottom of each message, beside the "profile", "PM", "site" buttons.
This button is linked to your Personal Gallery. Press on it to add photos to your gallery or to view other members photos.
I hope we'll see many many photos soon!
